Origin Of Style
Welcome to Tenshinkan Shotokan RYU Karate Federation- India
Tenshinkan Karate was founded in Japan in September 1965 by Kancho Mamoru Miwa. The name "Tenshinkan" originates from a nickname given to Miwa by his early teacher, Shotokan founder Gichin Funakoshi, who called him "Tenshin" (meaning the sincere or true one) because of his deep dedication and truthful practice.
